The Role

Imperial Brands are looking for a Senior IT Business Partner who will report to the Head of IT Cluster Germany and will be the primary point of contact for the assigned Cluster and Market leadership teams. The successful candidate is the empowered representative for the Head of IT and will be responsible for the IT portfolio and account management of the assigned functions. The Senior IT Business Partner will lead the engagement and provide oversight to the cross functional IT team members and SMEs whilst Support the business with making decisions on new products, market opportunities, pricing and distribution channels whilst Supporting the business with making decisions on new products, market opportunities, pricing and distribution channels.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Review and analyse reports from FP&A, Trade Marketing, I&I and overlay insight on customer and competitor
  • Evaluate business opportunities / scenarios, advice on Must Win Battles, prepare Business cases to present to
  • Keep master data, historical and commercial data historical data for the customers, including contract terms, discounts, margins,
  • Monitor and evaluate customer and supply side payment terms across their respective cost bases, and periodically meet customers / suppliers to discuss & optimise payment
  • Perform analyse of profitability by customer, product, channel to provide business insights on how to maximise
  • Compare expected uplift vs actual uplift across promotional products, identifying opportunities for improvement in return at every

Candidate Requirements

  • Educated to degree level (bachelor’s degree), ideally in Information Technology and/or Business management.
  • Substantial knowledge of the business and IT processes in a Sales & Marketing
  • FMCG experience in a global company desirable
  • Understand relevant technology choices and market trends relevant to the assigned function.
  • Commercial mind-set, considerable business acumen and literacy
  • Service-minded attitude with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
