Fontem Ventures, a subsidiary of Imperial Brands plc is a leader in vaping technology and owns e-vapour brand blu. Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and with its research & development centre in Liverpool, UK, Fontem Ventures develops and commercialises vaping products under the blu brand.
This role sits in the NGP Digital team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Delivery and forms part of the digital technology leadership team.
The Head of Development and Testing is responsible for overseeing and driving the vision, design and execution of the Engineering practice. This will also involve enabling and supporting the broader delivery teams through leadership and evolution of the QA capabilities and Development practices. The Head of Development and Testing will also be expected to work in an agile fashion and have a close working relationship with the Engineering teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for the hiring process, coaching developers and supporting their career growth.
This role will contribute to the global vision and strategy, especially when it comes to talent acquisition & growth and organizational design. The role will involve building strong relationships with other functions and the wider Firm. In this role, you will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall function.
