The Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the regulatory landscape of the tobacco industry? At Imperial Brands we are currently seeking a Compliance Associate, whereby you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with our industry regulations whist fostering a culture of responsibility, you will create comprehensive regulatory reports (Ingredients, Emissions & Technical) to a high degree of accuracy meeting the necessary requirements and timelines of the relevant Competent Authorities.

Key Accountabilities

• Create regulatory reports on ingredients and product data for submission to Health Authorities
• Liaising with Regulatory bodies and submitting information via a Regulatory portal
• Ensuring that our portfolio is compliant across international markets.
• Liaising with internal departments to ensure that reporting regulations have been met.
• Extract and format data to produce regulatory reports.
• Participate in Business development initiatives and projects, as required.
• Drive problem solving and data review activities.
• Identify and participate in Continuous Improvement actions

Skills

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey regulatory information to diverse audiences.
• Planning and organisational skills
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex data accurately.
• Proactive and a team player, with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross functional teams in a fast-paced environment. 

Experience

• Previous experience of working in a Compliance environment (desirable but not essential)
• Working under time pressures and to deadlines
• Proficiency utilising Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
