The role of Automation Team Lead sits in our global e-commerce platform and is reporting directly to the Global DevOps lead. Your role will involve building strong relationships with other functions and the wider business. You will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall function.
In this position you will be responsible for execution of Automation development and integration activities together with your automation team. You are expected to manage the delivery of Platform and system automation as well as optimization through design, build, implementation, and deployment solutions. As a Automation Team Lead, you are a technical automation delivery expert who is expected to ensure that your delivery portfolio meets the required outputs and solutions, on time, within budget, meeting business requirements and in compliance with relevant development standards.
This role also is accountable for providing support of digital assets including break fix and root cause analysis. You will work in close collaboration with Head of Development and Testing as well as Architects and you are responsible to identify efficiency gain and automation opportunities and create automation roadmap to ensure deployment can be done faster and time to market is reduce. The Automation Team Lead will work in collaboration with architects to ensure that the architectural vision in the specific domain is defined and executed.
