The Agile / Scrum Manager sits in our global Digital Product organization. Your role will involve building strong relationships with other functions and the wider business. You will be a critical member of the team, contributing to the success of the overall function. You are responsible for ensuring teams work well together, following agile practices and continuous improvement. A critical part of the job involves guiding the teams and organization on how to use Agile/Scrum practices and values to delight our consumers.
The purpose of the Scrum Manager is to act as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives. You support in delivering value, improving sprint velocity and cross departmental and ways-of-working challenges. You are responsible to resolve backlog and team impediments with other teams to increase the effectiveness of the application of the delivery model in the organization.
