The Role

In this role you will be leading investigations and process improvement activities for global ingredient & product data submission datasets (excluding USA). You will support the wider team to ensure ingredients reporting and sales data are delivered to schedule so that Imperial Brands tobacco containing products can be launched and/or available for sale in 70+ countries. You will work with the Combustibles Submissions Team and other internal stakeholders to extract and review large datasets. You will work with the Combustibles Submissions Manager to make robust responses with regards to data queries from within and outside of the business.

Principal Accountabilities

• Liaise with end market contacts to ensure that regulatory reports are reflective of the product portfolio on the market and also planned for launch.
• Lead dataset investigations following data queries by internal/external stakeholders.
• Extract and manipulate large data sets from compliance systems to support responses to challenges from regulatory authorities.
• Identify corrective and preventative actions following challenges to submitted datasets by regulatory authorities.
• Lead problem solving and data review with support of other team members.
• Lead business development initiatives/projects to resolve problems or to update compliance systems.
• Draft standard operating procedures and train others on updates or new processes
• Lead LEAN and continuous improvement activities including but not limited to Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

Essential:

• Project Management Experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Strong capabilities in planning and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills and experience managing multiple stakeholders.
• Pro-active and reliable team player who is able to work on their own initiative.
• Ability to work under time pressure meeting tight deadlines whilst ensuring attention to detail.

Desirable:

• Experience working in Regulatory Affairs or product manufacturing.
• Experience submitting data sets to Regulatory authorities.
• Knowledge of ARAS Product Lifecycle Management software & datasets
• Willing to travel internationally on occasion
• LEAN Green belt Certification
• University degree or 1+ year experience working in a similar role.
