The role

Office Administrator (Pensions Team)
Part Time, 6 month FTC
Bristol

Imperial Brands currently has an opportunity for a enthusiastic, organised and conscientious individual to support our UK Pensions team.

The individual will assist the Pension Fund Office team with day to day office administration work to aid the efficient running of the department and the Imperial Tobacco Pension Fund. This role is a part time position up to 20 hours p/w and is initially offered on a 6 month fixed contract basis.

Key accountabilities

• Opening and scanning daily post and where correspondence relates to a Fund member creating a task for the case on the Task Management system within the Altair database
• Maintaining and ordering stationery supplies for the office and checking invoices against deliveries
• Assisting with bulk mail outs to Fund members
• Updating the Altair database with membership data changes as necessary
• Assisting with telephone enquiries as required
• Filing and scanning member correspondence and files as required to the relevant Altair member record
• Assembling Additional Voluntary Contribution (AVC) and Defined Contribution (DC) member information member packs as required
• Assisting the Pensions team with day to day pension administration matters or ad-hoc projects as required
• Identify possible improvements to existing office administration practices

Skills & experience

• Experience of general office administration work and of working with business software packages and databases
• Strong Excel and Word skills
• Strong team worker
• Good communication skills. Professional manner
• Flexible and proactive
