The role

As part of a two-year international programme, where you’ll work and learn from other highly talented professionals, you will join the CLA team of a pioneering FTSE 30 company at the forefront of industry change. If you’re ready to become a future business leader, this programme will get you there fast.

Key accountabilities

As a key member of Global Corporate Affairs team, you will participate in key projects related to the functioning of Group CA and the delivery of our objectives across Tobacco and New Generation Products. 

More concretely there will be two continuous projects; firstly working with regulatory science on how they add commercial value and; secondly, monitoring and quantifying the financial contribution of the global Corporate Affairs function. 

You will also be involved in cross functional projects related to the implementation of different regulations across IMB markets and communication with internal and external stakeholders. 

This is a high-visibility role within Imperial Brands, demanding an excellent ability to communicate and articulate commercial value.

Skills & experience

We’re looking for people who have completed their onsite full-time MBAs in the last year or who are due to complete them in 2020. You are the right person for the role is you are:

  • Bachelor in engineering
  • 5 years or more of experience in highly regulated industries like oil & gas / pharma
  • 5 years or more of international work experience
  • GMAT of 710 or above
  • Min of 2 languages spoken at business level
  • Project management skills and experience
  • Good communication skills and ability to influence others
  • Understanding of complex structures and ability to navigate through it
  • Ability to operate dynamically in an environment of change and manage and prioritise multiple programs of work
  • Driven and results-oriented
  • Curious and willing to respectfully challenge the status quo
  • Passionate about problem-solving
  • Committed to learning and growing every day

What we offer

Imperial Tobacco offers a competitive package of salary, bonus scheme, pension and 25 days holiday (with an additional 4 days on top to cover the Christmas period and bank holidays).

Where will I work? 

You will be rotating throughout different locations, mainly Brussels and Bristol
