The role

Imperial Brands is currently undergoing a strategic transformation to become a consumer-centric organisation and the new RGM (Revenue Growth Management) function will be a crucial driving force behind this change, placing consumer preferences and demands at the centre of commercial decision making to gain competitive advantage.

This role will enable this data driven transition. This function will be a centre of excellence and the data you provide is critical to the business.

A new Analyst-level position within Imperial's RGM function, you will act as the senior analyst supporting the Global RGM Director on on-going and ad hoc analytics on RGM performance across Regions / Clusters / Markets.  

This role will be enabling the identification of fact based (internal & external data) RGM opportunities with scope across all of our markets.

You will work together with various project streams on both internal and external data.

This role is based in Bristol; and we also work on a 50% hybrid working model. 

Principle accountabilities

  • Connect internal with external RGM related data and identify actionable insights
  • Identify performance outliers and business opportunities to feedback to Regions / Clusters
  • Run ad hoc analytics on RGM metrics
  • Develop the “Global Consumer Pricing tracker”, connecting Consumer Price – Excise – MPI – Inflation

 You will build strong relationships with:

  • Regional Marketing Directors
  • Regional Sales Managers
  • Regional Insight Directors
  • Cluster Heads of Insight
  • Cluster / Market RGM Manager
  • Heads of Data Science, Data Strategy and Consumer Research
  • Finance

Skills and experience required

Essential:

  • Educated to degree level in Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or Business Administration or relevant field
  • Experience focussed on Insights and/or FP&A – or equivalent – ideally multi-category
  • Passionate on data driven commerce
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Able to co-ordinate activities across multiple teams and prioritise
  • Able to simplify complicated analytics

Desirable:

  • Working experience on Corporate / Business Strategy teams in multicultural environments and several regions / markets

Imperial Brands offer a competitive package of salary, bonus scheme, pension, 50% hybrid working and 25 days holiday + bank holidays; and an additional 4 days on top to cover the Christmas period.
