Fontem Ventures, a subsidiary of Imperial Brands plc is a leader in vaping technology and owns e-vapour brand Blu. Headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and with its research & development centre in Liverpool, UK, Fontem Ventures develops and commercialises vaping products under the Blu brand.
Our Direct to Consumer (D2C) platform integrates all operations and capabilities centrally, enables consumer digital experience, eCommerce, digital marketing & segmentation, and customer care coherently working under one roof. It integrates multi-vendor, fit for purpose solutions, and serves multi-brands and multi-markets in standardized and localized fashion.
The platform consists of two main legs. Both teams ensure capabilities and data flows that form the foundation of our global D2C are in place, powering the functional components and enable seamless operations at the centre:
As the platform is central to our operations, the Global D2C Platform Lead is expected to have a wide understanding across all domains and capabilities supported, is aware of both depth and breadth of functionalities and use cases running in markets, and responsible of keeping the central standardized “platform” vision in-tact.
Being the Global D2C Platform Lead you will ensure that the feature developments, platform improvements and market releases always follow the “global” and “scalable” principles. Together with other POs and teams, you will also make sure that we “build once deploy many”. Additionally, you will be collaborating with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Category Leads, and other stakeholders in Digital area to manage expectations, avoid deviations from “one global platform” vision.
Essentially with product owner skills, you will be representing the product and feature expectations from the platform components, translate them to user stories to be worked on Data Engineering, and D2C BE teams in particular priority.
