The Role

The role holder helps to analyse functional data to create, maintain and publish the reports, KPI’s & insights needed to support the running of the function. As Capability specialist you would analyse functional data & provide analytics, reporting & insights in line with functional KPI’s & scorecard. This could include supplier data, cost data, financial information, ESG & Risk data, scorecard preparation & leadership requests on reporting & presentation.

You would manage the official reporting needs from 3rd party suppliers and deliver insight into trends from the data reporting and looks for holes in data reporting capabilities and provides the ‘one version’ of the truth.

Additional Information

  • Deliver correct, high-quality data & insights, including reporting & scorecards.
  • Use the data outputs to continually evolve the reporting & quality of data used in reporting.
  • Analyse data from reports to support the team’s early recognition of issues.
  • Look for emerging data trends from within our sphere of visibility.

Principle Accountabilities

  • The Data & Analytics Specialist is responsible for supporting the Data & Analytics Manager in the generation and analysis of functional data needs.
  • This could include data on suppliers, financials, cost targets, ESG & Risk (in conjunction with the risk specialist), scorecards & presentations.
  • Will work in line with both weekly, monthly & ¼ leadership meeting cadence to provide key data inputs as needed.
  • Will work to ensure critical data inputs (via tools like Per Angusta) are delivered in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Will develop & deliver data-driven reporting that communicates and informs procurement and business teams on key insights (eg. Supplier information, costs, financials, scorecards etc)
  • Research industry benchmarks and best practices to incorporate into data & analytics reporting.
  • Provide support and information to category and regional teams to assist them in key insights around suppliers, performance, costs etc
  • Deliver reports, as required by the Leadership team and the wider function utilising base data within the relevant systems.
  • Develop relationships with category and market teams to provide proactive data & insight and seek feedback on the data & insights to drive continual improvement in insights generated.
  • Ensure single versions of the truth with data consistency across Procurement.
  • Proactively escalate any potential areas of risk or concern as discovered through data analysis.

  • Adapt at dealing with stakeholders on varied levels.
