Procurement Business Partner

The Role

At Imperial Brands, we are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement Business Partner to join our team in Warsaw, supporting the Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) region. As Procurement Business Partner, you will support relevant functions in-market & cross cluster initiatives, assisting the delivery of market/cluster objectives through the key pillars of: Demand Management, Project Management, Stakeholder Management, strategic sourcing & category management. Additionally, you will possess experience and an understanding of a variety of markets (A&P, Indirects, PS & CS Categories) acting as key liaison between our procurement function and business units, driving strategic initiatives, ensuring seamless operations.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Builds and leverages strong and credible relationships with key stakeholders across the business to turn market demand and outcomes into 3rd party goods & services through effective & efficient Procurement.
  • Ensure the implementation of efficient procurement processes in close collaboration with the GM and the other CLT members, including oversight of compliant sourcing from approved suppliers.
  • Lead the respective team any in country Procurement resource, ensuring delivery of business objectives and Optimise the Procurement cost to serve through efficient sourcing and prioritisation of resource.
  • Represent the broader Procurement in understanding business needs and formulating recommendations.
  • Ensure best value for money in sourcing through the appropriate influencing skills in the region’s business operations, utilising their network within procurement to bring SME knowledge to support sourcing activities, leveraging above market (or above cluster) solutions where possible to drive aggregation, scale, and risk mitigation.
  • Works closely with the Global Procurement team to ensure that governance and e2e S2P process excellence is achieved for the assigned stakeholder community.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Procurement leadership roles, preferably FMCG industry and with knowledge of Indirect Procurement.
  • Ability to work with, and influence, senior internal stakeholders.
  • Sound understanding of key financial metrics used in Sales, manufacturing, and Supply Chain functions.
  • Driven, collaborative, focused & accountable.
  • Excellent strategic & negotiation/influencing skills.
  • Able to adapt to different cultures, intercultural sensitivity.
